What do you think of "Cabin Fever" as your holiday gathering theme? I am really loving the idea! Turn your home into a cabin with lots of fleece blankets & fuzzy pillows. It would be perfect if you had a fireplace in your home. Decorate with these bottle brush trees & some antlers. Use natural materials like wood silverware, ceramic bowls & linen napkins in the place settings. Dress code is flannel shirts, cable knit sweaters & boots! For dinner, make tin foil dinners or chili. Then finish it with cobblers or scones & jam for dessert. Make sure to serve bottomless cups of hot cocoa!

I think this theme is brilliant!! Every year, I have an annual cookie exchange party (though this year I'm having trouble planning it) and I ALWAYS put out a really hard puzzle. I feel like spontaneous games like that are quite cabin-y! So happy we found each other's blogs! xoMeg
That game idea sounds like so much fun! And its definitely very cabin-y. This made me think of card games! We always play spoons at our cabin.
