I hope you all had a lovely fourth! I sure did! We spent our time at the lake, catching rays & staring at gorgeously orange poppies! We then came home & moved into our new home! It's perfect... except the A/C isn't working!

Strange Flowers

Today I found some strange flowers. I can't tell if they are flowers or just leaves of plants. 

What do you think? They are very dry & sad. 

We moved out of our first apartment today. It was bittersweet, we are sad to leave our home but excited to make a new one.

Lately I've been thinking I am know way more about weddings now then I did when I was actually getting married... I'm constantly trying to find new ideas for flowers and design, so I find new wedding blogs weekly!

This has been a crazy week. After searching & waiting, Drew & I are proud to say we have found a new place to live. Now it's time to pack up & move - Boo! It's got me thinking I need to plant some flowers or herbs. Anyone know any flowers to plant in July?
Fourth of July is looming nearer - Yay! We get a vacation! Time for family, beach, sun & of coarse a horseshoe tournament!

I've found that I'm very opinionated about flowers.. among other things. One such flower is the lily. I hear people say all the time "lilies are my favorite flowers" and so I always thought they were over-rated. But look at these gorgeous lilies I arranged today! Isn't their color just stunning?
